Pray For Us

Monday, November 26, 2007
I started this blog to write things about my life that I didn't mind sharing to the whole world. An opportunity came for me to earn from blogging and I'm grateful for that but I guess things will be different from now on. I will be writing less sponsored posts although there will still be some from time to time but not as much anymore.

Anyway, I will be away for a while and will be back posting on December 3. I will be with my sister in Hong Kong for a short vacation. Honestly, if I could beg out from this trip I would but it's all set and I guess God really wanted me to take this trip. I'm leaving on Wednesday.

To all who read this post, I'd like to ask you to please stand with me in prayer for myself, my husband and our marriage. I know that there are people and forces of evil that are hoping and trying all they can to destroy this God ordained marriage. I also know that the enemy will try his best to snatch us out of God's will and bombard us with lies until we succumb to it. One of us may be weak, but I am standing in what the Word of God said in:

Matthew 18:19
"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven."

1 John 5:14-15
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him."

Matthew 19:6
"So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

Isaiah 54:17
"
No weapon forged against us will prevail, and we will refute every tongue that accuses us. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me," declares the LORD."

Philippians 1:6
"Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

Proverbs 19:21
"Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails."

Yes, I'm hurting with all these blows in our lives and my heart breaks to tiny pieces but I'm holding on to God. I believe that He will redeem us. I believe in my heart that nothing is impossible with God and nothing is too hard for Him to do. God will honor His Word because He is a faithful God. He will make ALL His promises to me which I kept in my heart come to pass. I can depend on Him. I can trust Him. And I know that He will never let the righteous fall (Psalm 55:22). This child of God here is not quiting!

Thank you for praying with us. God bless y'all!

hi pia, i'm praying for you right now, and will continue to do so for your marriage & family as well.

Mark 11:23-24: truly i tell you, whoever says to this mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the sea, and does not doubt at all in his heart, but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.

for this reason, I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust & be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will get it.

have a safe, relaxing trip (& maybe even a little fun).

peace, blessings, & hugs,
sylvia

Hi Pia,
Although I am observing a blog holiday right now, I can't help but heed the call for assistance from a distressed sister in Christ. Yes, I will be praying for you. Trust the Lord that your problem will be resolved according to His will and in His time. I share this verse to you so that you can hold on to it. "All things work together for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28) Aside from the prayers of those who love you, I suggest that you approach somebody that your husband really respect and ask him to convince your husband that the two of you undergo a marriage counseling, preferably from a Christian marriage counselor. That way, you and your husband can really thresh out whatever problems you may be encountering with the help of an expert counselor who can act as your mediator and who can give you expert counseling. At the same time, keep on asking your Christian relatives and friends to keep on praying for you so that God's will and grace will see you through these most trying times. At the moment, try to concentrate with your trip to Hongkong with your sister and trust God that He will resolve your problem in His own way and time. Just email me if you need any special prayers as I will be praying for you until your problem is finally resolve. Don't worry sister, all of us- your brothers and sisters in Christ, love you and will always pray for you. Thanks for giving us the privilege to pray for you as we join you in your battle against all adversities. Smile always. God bless. Have a wonderful and safe trip to Hongkong.

What Mel said is right Pia, take help from a good Christian marriage counselor and friends. And ask people to pray for you. We your friends are praying.

my younger sister"s marriage nearly fell apart too, but we got the victory thru fasting and prayer and counselling.

Have a good time in Hong Kong.

Hey Pia,

I hope you have a FANTABULOUS time in Hong Kong! Take that time to enjoy your sister and get some time in with God. Know that God is with you. I pray that he would arrest your husband and get through to him. I pray that your communication would improve. I pray that He will give you strength to get through each day. When the enemy comes in like a flood God ALWAYS comes in and lifts up a standard against Him. Stay on your knees. God is a friend to the brokenhearted. He loves you courageously. He sees every tear you've cried and has tucked them away in his heart. God is going to PULL through for you. His timing is ALWAYS better than ours, NO DOUBT! Love your husband unconditionally. God has kept my marriage for 9 years and he has no respecter of person. I am with you.

Please write me when you return.

Your Sis,
KimPossible

hugs and prayers - lots of both for you sis.

Hope your trip is therapeutic. I've been to HK once and loved the island so much. It was so quiet ... and really tropical ... I stayed at a hostel miles out (it seemed) and everyone was so friendly.

It wasn't luxurious but I enjoyed the favour of the Lord there in the peace - and hope you do too.

There is nothing that He cannot mend!
