Fearless Friday

It's what a lot of people call Black Friday today. When so many are rushing to take advantage of the SALE going on, so many are also going through "black Friday" today --- people who are in pain, who are hurt, sick, suffering and people who feel hopeless and forgotten.

Today, let us join together in praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ.
"So I (Jesus) say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened..." Luke 11:9-10
"And I (Jesus) will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." John 14:13-14
"I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?" Jeremiah 32:27

"According to your faith will it be done to you" Matthew 9:29

If you have prayer requests and you need somebody to stand in the gap for you, please leave a comment here and I will pray.

One Bizarre Dream

Tuesday, November 24, 2009
I was awaken by a bizarre dream early Sunday morning. It was about a girl who wasn't even a friend. Though we know each other, talked on the phone a few times, we're not really friends. To give you a little background, she did something to me a few months back that irked me. She was like Pilate, washed her hands and turned her back. She said she doesn't want to "get involved". She calls herself a Christian but wouldn't stand for what she knows is right. She'd rather be on the "safe" side.

Anyway, in my dream, we were friendly to each other. When I woke up around three or four in the morning, I felt so weird. I was like --- Duh?! Where did that come from? Why?

I said, "God, do you want me to pray for her? Is she in trouble? If so, what would you want me to pray for her about?"

I kept silent for a few minutes then I felt in my spirit and saw the word WORK.

I said, "Work?"

I wasn't sure if I was just making that up, but then why would I? Did I really feel in my spirit to pray for her about work? I wasn't sure but I did pray for her. Now you're probably asking did I really feel like praying for her? Honestly? Heck no! I even thought why on earth would I pray for her after what she did?! Serves her right! You know that's my flesh talking, right? But I felt God wanted me to pray, so I did. I obeyed. Talk about killing the flesh.

Later that afternoon during the service, I was sitting in front, near the stage, ready to listen to what our pastor had to say. The topic he was about to discuss with us was flashed on the projector screen. In big, bold letters spelled the word WORK.

Coincidence? I believe that was a confirmation.

Thankful Thursday

Thursday, November 19, 2009

Today's theme is about LIFE.

I thank God for my life. It's far from being perfect, but mine is a life full of hope and promises from God. The best is yet to come!
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
"No matter how may twist and turns the road may have, there is always one smooth, straight portion. Even the longest day has sunset and the winter snow may stay quite some time, but it will finally melt." (Streams in the Dessert)

F U N !!!

Monday, November 16, 2009
Last weekend was fun! Fun! Fun!

We had our first ever High School Batch '90 Section Five (IV-5) reunion last November 13, 2003 at Celsius Gastrolounge. After 19 years, we saw each other again. For some, like me, it was the first time to see them again after graduating from high school. Yeah, it was that long ago.

Maybe next time everybody from our class can attend. The more, the merrier.

My girl friends

With Joyce, Claire and Bia

With Janet and Bia

I'm so happy to see them again!

The following day, Saturday, my friends and I went to Enchanted Kingdom, a theme park in Laguna, and went for the rides immediately. I felt like a little kid all over again.

See that Mickey Mouse bag? That's mine! =D
I asked Jericho to hold it for me because they put all their stuff inside and it was heavy

Thumbs Up Mini Ice Cream

Me!!!

I got tired of screaming at the top of my lungs during the Anchors Away (Pirate Ship) and the Jungle Log Jam (Log Flume) rides, but I had so much fun! I haven't laughed so hard for a long time and it felt good!

Yesterday after the service, my friends and I watched 2012. Nice movie. Got home at 11:30 p.m.

Thankful Thursday

Thank you, Lord, that you are in control. I am where I am now, even when it hurts, because this is where I'm suppose to be... Because I am a work in progress. It's not by chance that I am here. It's because of your divine direction.

And I trust you, Lord Jesus.

What are you thankful for this week?

Errands... New Moon!!!

Tuesday, November 10, 2009
I love jotting down to-do-list everyday. You know that by now. That way I won't miss a single thing that I needed to do. I especially love crossing each item on my list after I'm done with the task and eventually crumpling that piece of paper signifying that I'm done for the day. Woohoo!

Last Saturday I started my day at 9:30 a.m. Did stuff around the house before going to the gym. After that I went to the bank to pay my bills. I had around 15 things to do on my list that day. So I couldn't understand why some people would think my life is boring. They think I don't have anything to do. Really now! If they could only see my LIST. Ha!

Anyhow, can't wait to see New Moon.

Ten days to go...

It's another day dedicated to praying for all our needs. Let's join together believing that God will answer our prayers because He does!
"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:19-20
"... The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective." James 5:16
" Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7
"Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:4

Let's continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who need deliverance, healing, restoration and those who are waiting for their breakthroughs. Remember, we serve a powerful God. There is power in the name of JESUS!

If you have prayer requests and you need somebody to stand in the gap for you, please leave a comment here and I will pray.

Thankful Thursday

Thursday, November 5, 2009

For the past several weeks I have been expressing my thankful heart to the Lord through praise and worship in spite of all the trials I'm facing in my life. This week is no different. I chose to sing along with this video as my expression of gratefulness for who He is, what He has done and what He's about to do in my life.

Would you sing along with me?

Christ, our Lord
All praise is yours (2x)

We will face this world
And break the silence
We will sing your song
Where injustice lies

Crying oh-o-oh
Heaven pour out your glory
Oh-o-oh
Heaven pour out your glory

Christ, our Lord
All praise is yours (2x)

We will carry your dreams
To heal the earth
Take the kingdom of God
To the broken and hurt

To the far ends of earth we go
(Your) love story must be told
We will not live in comfort anymore

What are you thankful for this week?
