Aftermath of Typhoon Katsana.
Scenes from Marikina City

Lord, thank you for sparing me and my family from this tragedy. I pray for those people who were badly affected by this storm and those who lost everything. Please help them, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen.

Pia, thank the Lord you and your family are safe. What a tragic event...praying for the people of your country. Our friends were missionaries in Manila and I am so thankful they are back here in the states and are safe from harm. The other missionaries are all safe too.

I am so grateful that God has held you and your family close. I, too, am praying for the many, many who are this very moment dealing with earthquakes and new storms as well. Oh MY! So much devastation and so many lives. I have been so thankful that we here in Texas, USA, have NOT had a hurricane this year, and pray we don't, yet I understand and know how awful this is. Yet, I am thankful that our God is merciful, loving, and caring. LORD, we lift these people to You and ask for Your mercy, LORD. Amen.
I love you, Pia... ~ linda
