You know the first part of the verse makes me cringe some, but then I realize that God is mighty and He doesn't put up with the enemy!

Yes, the Lord shall punish our tormentors who unnecessarily persecute us. That is the reason why the Lord admonished us not to take revenge against our enemies because He will be the one who will avenge us. Thanks for the post. God bless you always.
