My Life's Journey

Thursday, June 29, 2006
The pain and the rashes on my face and body are now completely gone. I can now sleep like a baby at night. Thank God! I'd like to thank everyone who prayed for me, Jec and I are truly grateful for all your prayers and well wishes. Thanks to Corry and KC for the wonderful gift they sent us. It is our heart's desire that God will bless y'all abundantly.

God has been continually sending people my way, people whom I would think is God Himself, as I go and travel my life's journey. In trying times, God has proven that His grace is sufficient and there really is new grace in the time of need. God showed me this truth when I'm this close to hitting rock bottom. My life is like a puzzle with all the pieces in front of me. When I try to put them all together myself, I get frustrated because I tend to jumble the pieces more often than not. When I let God do the fitting, everything works like magic. Patiently, He puts one and two together and before I know it, my life's majestic figure is becoming more and more evident to my human eye.

In front of me are some loose pieces of my life's puzzle and I can't seem to put them in its place correctly. I'm reminded of a story about a father and son who goes fishing once in a while to bond. Most of the time, the boy gets his fishing line tangled in knots. The more he try to untangle the knots himself, the bigger and tighter the knots become. He finally decided to hand it over to his father to untie the knots for him so he can continue fishing. Slowly, little by little, as the father works on it, the knots on the fishing line were straightened. Some of the loose pieces in my puzzle are situations in my life where they're all tangled up. Just like in the story, the more I try to fix them, the more messed up they become. The other day, God reminded me to hand Him over my "tangled fishing line" so He could fix it for me and I can enjoy the life He gave me the way He intended it.

I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling so much better...praise God for that!

Thank you so much for this very important reminder. There are so many times when we have those 'tangles' in our lives and we try to fix them, instead of giving them over to him to fix it. It's seems for me, especially in a time of chaos that I forget to give it completely over to Him and to also quiet myself and listen for His all important guidance.

I pray He'll continue to bless you both in a very special way...blessings to you...(((HUGS)))!

On the altar we'll lay ourselves with the grace and mercy from our Lord :)

I like the comparison with the fishing-line.

God has a way of working things out, in His time and His way. The knots will get untangled and the pieces will fall in place:-)
I pray it will happen soon for both you and Jec.

Luv ya.

God's Grace.

Pia, so glad to know that you have recovered from the pain and the rashes on your face and body. Your faith and trust in God is a good example for me. Yes the analogy of the tangled fishing line is really meaningful.

Love ya and keep praying for ya and Jec.

Dearest Pia,

You have suffered much, yet His grace and beauty shines through your very words. Thankful for the improvements you've reported, and will continue to cover you in prayer as He hides you under His wing. I loved the beautiful analogy you shared about the boy and his fishing line. I need to remember that, too, even at my age. There is so much mystery in walking with the Lord, but one thing we know for sure is His unfailing love and eternal power to keep us til Heaven. Keep the faith, sweet sister. Trust in Him, even in the dark places. His light will break through.

love you bunches,
Vicki

Pia, great to hear that things are improving for you and Jec :-)

A great line I heard tonight..."the finish line is just the beginning of a whole new race".

Thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers for a full and complete recovery from what ails you.

God bless you,
Enid

You probably couldn't open the video because you don't have Quicktime installed on your computer. You can download a free player on the internet.

Amen, Amazing testimony!

PIA, I am so glad to witness it. Jesus is forever fateful & when we rest in Him, all things simply fall into places.

As written, do not worry about the day as the day will worry by itself. Let not your heart be troubled, neither be afraid.

Rest in the perfect work of the Cross! Total Salvation, healing, miracles & all as our God is almighty!

Enjoy the rest! God Bless:-)

matthew 11:28-30

pia, you are such an encouragement to me and others. God gives you some good analogies, revelation, and insight into life's mysteries.

i read a story once about a little boy who saw a moth struggling in his cocoon. the little boy, wanting to help the moth, cut the cocoon to free the moth. but alas, the moth died. the little boy was sad. his grandfather explained to him that when the moth is struggling in its cocoon, it's to help bring about all of the beautiful colors that make it the beautiful butterfly when the timing is right. the struggle in the cocoon is part of the process to bring about the butterfly's maturity so it can fly away in it's splendor and glory (the beautiful colors) for all to see.

i'm so glad to hear you're doing much better. the earnest, heartfelt, and continued prayers of the righteous avails much (James 5:16b)

godwyn: i claim my healing everyday. with all these ailments and every problem that comes along with it, it's only God who can give me total freedom.

pastor josh: thank you so much for praying. God heard us and He healed me from the pain and rashes. yeah, distance is not an issue. God bless you too. :)

lorna: God has been good. :)

sylvia: that's a beautiful story too. we go through life's struggles to refine us. we know that fact but we also know how hard that is. we just have to keep on trusting Him. thanks for praying. God bless you. ;)

Oh Pia! I'm so happy that God healed you!!! My circumstances haven't changed, but I think I finally handed Him my "tangled fishing line" and all should be better soon.
