Hard Facts Of Life

Wednesday, May 10, 2006
I know it's been a while since I last posted. I'm sorry for not being able to touch base with you. I've been quite busy with a lot of things lately. Not everything turned out the way we hoped for though. It's hard to accept things sometimes especially when you don't get that something that you've wanted so badly. But life has to go on, life doesn't stop here. Reasons do not always make sense unfortunately, but that's life. There are things that we just have to accept and let go.

That's the hard facts of life.

How can we best pray for you?

I will keep you in my prayers too! And I agree with you - sometimes it is best just to let disappointments "go"...but that can be the hardest part of it! Praying for grace and strength and NEW JOY to come your way!!

Pia,
It's been a while since I've visited your corner. We will be faced with unaswered questions, prayers, etc... But the truth is, there is HOPE in Christ and that is where our JOY comes from. Will keep you in prayer my friend.

Hey Jec & Pia,

I believe all battles belongs to the Lord, all Victories are for us to claim! That is why Christ Jesus is our living God!

Jesus walks daily with mercy & loving kindness, uplifting His hand when we fall, lead us to all the glorious blessings, brought by not the Bulls & Goats but the Only Son of God in Heaven, Divine blood of Lord Jesus Christ!

God Bless! All good things will come...expect it from our Good God Amen?!

Dearest I trust God. I want so much for you but I trust God. I want to question Him at every turn but I trust Him. My heart bleeds for you but I trust Him. I won't stop asking Him to bless you and I trust that He is in spite of our disappointments. I know He knows.

Father please touch my sister, comfort and encourage her as only you can.

I agree. Sometimes we do have to accept things and let them go. So hard sometimes.

I understand being too busy to post. I hope things are going well for you, even if you've been disappointed. Sometimes those things that don't make sense can really have great things happen out of them.

joe: i've accepted the fact that i can't have everything that i wanted. well, maybe it wasn't the right time. but the one thing that opened my eyes to what matters most was what my hubby told me that same day when we're both so depressed ~~ "babe, what happened this morning was disappointing but that's nothing. more than anything else, i'd rather that we have children. for me that's priceless."

kimber: thank you very much. we're truly grateful.

corry: don't know what to say... (((HUGS)))

joy: thank you very much. that's very uplifting.

godwyn: you're right!

KC: i'm truly grateful to have you and mamu as one of our dearest friends across the miles. i know you've all been praying but He knows best even if we don't understand everything that's happened. thank you for being there for us always.

sparrow: it is.

bethany: i agree. God has other plans for us. it could be something greater than we've expected.

Pia,

At the beginning of the year, your special word was FAVOR.

Abraham and Sarah had FAVOR.

May the Lord grant you FAVOR, and give you two the desires of your hearts.

Pia, it's been quite a while since I've been to your blog, but you have remained so faithful in visiting mine and leaving your footrpints of encouragement. I don't know what's happening in your life but as you know, I understand what it's like to not get what I have hoped for. However, God is still faithful and He is already in the future, waiting for you, planning your path, closing doors that lead to places He doesn't want you to go, opening doors He will lead you through. Continue to look for Him in all you do and His hand will gently but surely rest on your shoulder and guide you every step of the way. I know...I feel His hand on mine.
Love Becky

When we have Christ; we have joy, peace and hope of eternal life.

Every other thing in life are add-ons. When the add-ons seems to delay in coming and we are going through a trial of our faith, it is to make us strong in our faith in God.

And it will result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.

I pray that the trial of your faith at this moment will cause you to grow strong, strengthen, unshakeable, firmly rooted and established in your faith in God -Amen.

Pia: I think that God is taking you through a time of testing, to purify you, as He does to all His saints who truely love God and give their whole selves to Him. Also, God is attentive to your prayers, but after the prayers there is something that remains - complete surrender and waiting and resting. You are blessed because He is taking you onto maturity!!Riches in Him are FOREVER! These trials are temporary, as you know. I love your faith. Thank you for letting me share boldly. I hope that it is godly enouragement. May the Lord give you endurance!!!

I agree with Kimber. Although, I also know all to well the heartbreak of disappointment. I wonder why it seems that sometimes, it appears as if we have more crosses to bare then others. But, rest assured that God has a perfect plan for each of us and He will see that good comes of it. Be strong and know that you are surrounded in love and supported by prayers!
