TSMSS - Desert Song

Saturday, January 29, 2011

I know some of you are going through some tough times.  Maybe, you feel the pain in your heart, but the pain is just too much to bear that you couldn't express it anymore in words.  Maybe some of you have "enemies" who wanted to see you suffer and give up and they probably are earnestly waiting to comment, "See, I told you so, he/she won't last."  Or maybe, some think and feel that their "water has already run dry". We all have different mountains in front of us, different monsters facing us and different "enemies" who wanted to see our doom.  But let me encourage you with these verses ---
"'No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me,' declares the LORD." Isaiah 54:17
"For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory." Deuteronomy 20:4
"...If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31
The people of God will emerge as VICTORS whether the world likes it or not!

Here's a song that we can declare out loud while our Almighty God fights for us.

Amen!
No matter what season we go through He is still God.

God is God and always has been and always will be! He will be there through it all and He is molding us to be stronger because of the trials! Thank you for playing a song so dear to my heart. It was played at my sister's funeral 2 years ago!

Yes, these are really hard times like the time when the Israelites were in the desert with God to provide for all their needs. We only have to rely in the faithfulness of God to keep all His promises. Thanks for the post and the song. God bless you always.
