What Will Your Answer Be?

Friday, November 17, 2006
What are you hoping God to do in your life? If God asks you at this very moment, "What do you want me to do?" What would you say? What's on the top of your list?

I asked myself that question and my mind suddenly went from zero activity to gazillion thoughts swarming my head like crazy! What do I want God to do in my life? There's a lot of things I want Him to do for me. In fact, this page here wouldn't be enough to list everything. But on top of my list there's one thing I really want Him to do. If God would ask me, "Daughter, what do you want me to do in your life?" I'd say,"Father, I want to be healed. From the crown of my head to the soles of my feet. I want to be made whole. I want to be set free."

What do you want God to do in your life?

I think we need to ask God more often what we want or desire in life.
After all David in Psalms 28 demonstrates that... and in other psalms.

"Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry to you." (Ps. 28:2)

"Blessed be the Lord, because He has heard the voice of my supplications! The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped!" (Ps. 28:6-7)

I dont think its wrong of us to ask God what He may want us to do... or what we desire to do.

Ive been dealing with this in my life lately... and Ive had to cry to God and really tell him what I desire... and you know... just recently I can see all of these things coming about!
He knows the desires of our hearts... all we need to do is ask.

I guess to be faithful, to not waiver, to be an overcomer as God talks about in the book of Revelations. And that God would have mercy on me, because I am in this body of flesh.

I want him to use me to reach the unsaved. To make me bold and courageous.

Good morning Pia

Welcome back! :-) The thing I would want God to do the most for me at this time is to have mercy on me also and to make me stronger in faith, mind and body.
Have yourself a blessed Sunday,

Enid

Oh, Pia...so glad to see you back! You have such a sweet spirit and I've missed you! :)

The wonderful thing about this passage is that God hears us, and feels us reach out, just as He did with the woman in this passage. Sometimes our faith is a bit weak at times, though...I know mine can be! But I would want to be made whole spiritually and emotionally.

God bless!

This is a really good question; it is one that really makes you stop and think. I don't know how I would answer it at the moment. I would need some time to think it over because I wouldn't want to answer something silly or superficial you know?

I just want to praise Him :)

"What do you want God to do in your life?"

I would say I want my mom to be healed and set free from her disease. I want my family to all know and experience Christ's love.

Blessings and (((HUGS))) to you!

I love your answer Pia! I want to be a whole person too - basking in His love. Instead of walking around wounded and noticing my wounds too much.

everything that we wrote hear, He knows. and thank you for being honest with your answers because God sometimes asks us a direct question and we tend to go around the bush with our answers. may we all have everything we asked for here. may God grant us the desires of our hearts.

right now i'm 5 classes away from graduating next june with my bachelors degree, and totally out of tuition money. i want God to open doors for the remaining balance.

mark 11:23-24 says, "truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the sea, and does not doubt at all in his heart, but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.
for this reason, i am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will get it."
