Goodbyes Are Not Always Forever 2

Monday, July 24, 2006

Hubby left again yesterday. It was actually the same month when he left last year. I wasn't really prepared emotionally for this, well, I guess I never will be no matter how often this happens. There's just so many things I'd be missing about him...

We were busy packing his things last Saturday, but I was in denial. After we attended the service in the afternoon, our cell members gave him a small get-away party then they prayed for us and his trip. Back home as we were getting ready for bed, it dawned on me that this was for real, my husband's leaving the next day. That's when the heavy waterworks all started.

Today, I'm waiting for his call and praying that all is well with him.

Babe, take care and always remember that I love you very much, I always will. God bless.

Aww!! That must be soooo difficult. I can't even imagine. Is he off to the U.S. again? I don't understand why you can't be with him?? How long will he be gone?

Hi Pia, thanks for dropping by today <<**>>

Your blog post reminds me of the lyrics from the group Chicago's long-ago song..

"Everybody needs a little time away from each other." "Even lover's need a holiday far away from each other."

I know you're missing Jec, but you will be back together and the wait will be worth the time spent apart.

Enjoy your days,
Enid

Oh Pia. I know what you are going through. When I got called up for the Bosnia crisis, I had to leave Dave and Keegan (then just 2) for nine months. It was horrible. I did make the best of it, but...it is hard. Take care you sweet girl. I'll be praying for you!

I'm praying for you husband's safety Pia. I'm praying too for your comforting.

Praying the Lord will enfold you in his loving arms and his peace will be yours. And, that your hubby will be back very soon. I remember when my hubby was in Korea for 7 months (that was when we were first married)...oh how terribly hard that seperation was and I didn't know Jesus as my Lord back then. What a difference to be saved, isn't it!
