Summer Fun

Wednesday, March 15, 2006
A few weeks ago, I was so worried about how I'd deliver the bad news to my colleagues. Guess what! All three probationary employees have already resigned and found themselves a better job somewhere else. Thank God! Not that I want them out of here but I couldn't possibly fail them in their evaluation when in fact they're doing good, just so I could meet the management's demands. I'm so relieved! But of course, this predicament is still far from over. A much bigger blow is yet to come.

It's officially summer here and it's time to have some fun!!! Don't you just love the smell of nature while sipping on your favorite fresh fruit shake under the shade of swaying palms?

I'm so thankful for you and for all involved so far. I pray that even if it becomes more difficult God will grant you wisdom and courage.

Yes, the palms are nice and the tuti-fruti drinks too (We have the luxury of a temperate climate too hehe). All our best to you both. ;-)

Wow, talk about God going before us!! He who is the Way made a way before you even asked.

That brings to mind this scripture...

Isaiah 65:24-25 (New King James)
It shall come to pass
That before they call, I will answer;
And while they are still speaking, I will hear.

Mmm...a strawberry drink.

They are predicting snow starting tonight where I live. We have 4 seasons-Summer, Fall, Winter and mud. Spring just seems to escape us here. I have about 4 months to go to enjoy summer. Glad things have worked out so far. Trust in God to keep working things out for you.

I thought Spring was here, but now it's going to get chilly again...Yikes, but yes I am ready to sit out side and enjoy the sun with good friends and good girl talk.

Hope things get better at work soon. Still praying for you!

WOW!
Jesus will make a way when there is no other way.
This is a great encouragement :)

Palm trees, cooling sea waves, fruit juice...
Perfect ambience for an outing =P

The Lord is so good that way, isn't he?

Oh Pia, how could you torture me like that? I long for summer days under swaying palms (or maples in my case) with a fruit drink in hand. Weather prediction here in Wisconsin, 4-6 inches of snow tonight. :( Boo hoo!
