What Is your Word For 2006?

Y

I just came from Kimber's blog where she suggested to think of a specific word for 2006 and her word is ACCEPTANCE. I've realized that I have also been loved and ACCEPTED by the people who are important to me and especially God who loves me and ACCEPTED me for who I am. For that, I am so thankful.

Paula M over at Grace Reign wrote there that her word for this year is EXPECTANT. Just like her, I am also expecting God to move in my life more this year.

Now it's my turn. My word for 2006 is FAVOR.

I have gone through so much last year and when I think back, I couldn't imagine how I got out of those turmoils still in one piece. I know it was all God's doing that's why I'm still here posting. Trials will still come and go but life's a bit easier to live by having Him with me always and friends like you to support me all the way. Boy, I thank God for all of you.

This year, I'm looking forward to more blessings and FAVOR from God Almighty. I have been praying for so many things and I know in my heart that they're in line with God's will and this year, I am boldly claiming them in Jesus' name.

What's your word for 2006?

The first thing that came to my mind was "delight". I think I will try and learn better how I might delight in the Lord.

Of course you are one of His big blessings to me and I delight in you and Jec and our hope for you all. ;-)

The word that jumps out to me is LOVE. God's love fills my heart with joy and encouragement and it is so rewarding and fulfilling to give love to others.
My word for 2006 is love! I would like to give more of it and learn from Our Lord how:-)

Luv ya, girlie!

God's Grace.

My word is LISTEN. I need to learn to listen whether I'm reading the bible, praying, journaling, or going about my day.

I know that by listening, God will teach me great things. And since God is in all of us, by listening to others I'm sure to hear God.

Favor and Grace are my favorite words. Happy New Year!

The first word that came to mind was 'creativity'. Our God is a creator God, and I want to be more creative in my life and ministry in 2006.

I found your blog through Shenna's "Living in Grace" site. Great site! It's encouraging to see other believers share how God is moving in their lives. May you have a wonderful new year!

Many Blessings to you in this upcoming year!
Sorry I have not checking into your blog in a while, but my computer kept freezing when I would load your page.
I am glad you are still posting. Looking forward to reading more.

Hey... I wanted to warn you about Tidy Bowl. She is a dangerous drug addict who takes pride in tearing people apart, and using God as an excuse. She stirs up trouble and when people retaliate, she makes things up that they never said... she'll then act like she is under attack for Jesus' sake and quote all kinds of verses that do not apply.

If you read some of the diabolical, discriminatory things she has written, it is quite scary to know that she has contact with children on a regular basis. She has a few screws loose, and is a shame to true Christians.

My word is "integrity."

I pray that the Lord will enable me to act with integrity by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Wow, this is a tough one. I think my word is going to be "LOVE". (Not trying to copy!) :) This year, I want to learn to love Jesus more than ever before. I want to reclaim the passion that I had when I first asked Jesus to be my Lord.

Sorry that Crall found your blog. I've had to turn on my comment moderation because of him. I hope he doesn't cause too much trouble over here.

I perceive that it is a year of obtaining specific promises; walking into and possessing my specific possessions which are due in God. This will be largely effected by God's Favour which will culminate in Laughter for me in 2006. I am Confidently Expectpant of these this year.

I would have to say my 1 word is MINISTRY. I sense G-d pushing me to reach out and touch His people for healing and restoration. I have been experiencing for the past 9 years a strengthing, regrouping, challenging, and emotional and spiritual growing and now it is time to share.

Hey Pia! I saw this on Kimber's Blog too. I have two words: trust and faith...I've been studying about laying all your fears, problems, desire at the feet of Jesus. He'll take care of me.

Thanks for all of your prayers about my proposal. I'm half-way through!
