It'll Be Over Soon

Sunday, February 18, 2007
We had a hectic schedule early this week because the president of KA International, Senor Luis Blanc, also a former regional director of Zara was here for a visit. He went back to Spain last Wednesday. Nice guy.

On a personal note, words aren't enough to describe the emotions I'm feeling now. All I can think of saying is that "God, please help us." Then I'd feel a lump forming in my throat and tears welling up in my eyes. I know this is just a phase in our lives that we need to go through but I'd also like to be honest in saying that I'm already exhausted. But in spite of it all, there's this tiny voice in my heart that says, "Don't give up. It'll be over soon." That's what holds me up. And I remind myself of what God said, since I'm a firm believer that my God is a faithful God:

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

One day, all these will be over. One day...

Pia, I'll be praying for you. I know the feeling of exhaustion too well lately. But He truly is a faithful and loving God.

Jeremiah 29:11 is one of the verses I have claimed as my 'theme' verses. When we moved, someone gave me Deuteronomy 31:8 and I claim it as well...the two knit together very strongly...I'm leaving it for you, hoping that it will bring you strength.

"The Lord himself will go ahead of you. He will be with you. He will never leave you. He'll never desert you. So don't be afraid. Don't lose hope."(Deuteronomy 31:8)

Many blessings and (((HUGS))) your way today!

Amen PIA!

I posted the same verse Jer 29:11 when the Lord spoke in January 09 while I was in a series of trials!

In the scripture Psalm 91:3 it says, "For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper. And the deadly pestilence."

Let us not look at our flesh but on the perfect work on the cross Amen?! As Our Lord Said, "It is Finished!"

Praying with you! Shalom:=)
