Just this morning, I was again tempted to take things in my own hands... to do things my way. I knew it wasn't what God wanted me to do but at that time it felt so right. WRONG!
"Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort?" Galatians 3:3The feeling I've felt earlier was overwhelming. I felt so rejected... so pushed aside. I prayed and cried to God.
I thank the Lord for reminding me that He is in control. That I should not be terrified or give way to panic for the Lord my God is the one who goes with me to fight for me against my enemies to give me victory.
I thank the Lord for my friend Babette who reminded me of Satan's tactics.
"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy..." John 10:10Lord, thank you for taking me back to your arms of comfort and assuring me again of my victory in Christ Jesus.
"...If God is for me, who can be against me?" Romans 8:31

What an awesome post. Big hug. I am glad you are ok now.
God bless your heart and continue to be faithful in the LORD
I think God sometimes places friends in our lives to help us through the tough times.
Pia,
Your faith touches me my sweet friend. I know things can not be easy and yes, the enemy chases you ... run to your Strong Tower and find your Refuge!
much love to you!
I think many of us struggle with the temptation to take control of a situation instead of trusting God. It can be hard to "let go and let God," but we are called to do that. I always remind myself that God is infinitely more capable of handling the situation than I am!
I'm thankful that the Lord provided the guidance and strength you needed.
What a awesome testimony, God is so good! Control is a issue for us all isn't it! But we have to trust in HIM and HIM alone, Always have Faith in HIM!!
I can see now you are going to have a Peace and Joyfilled Day!

I often feel this way as well but was told that same verse many years ago by an older church lady who had lived a life of faithfulness it is so true there is nothing they can do to defeat our spirit as long as we have our Christ by our side
A hearty Amen, Pia! I'm so glad you were faithful. God bless you. Happy Thankful Thursday!
Wow, Galatians 3:3 fits this so perfectly! Glad you didn't give into the temptation to take things into your own hands. I'm proud of you!
Amazing testimony! Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
These verses are like a soothing balm to a difficult situation. I need to be reminded regularly of God's power in my life and His purposes for me.
