TGIF!

Today is a day dedicated to prayer and I'm joining Angie over at Free Spirit Haven. If you have any concern that you'd like to lift up in prayer, I'd be glad to pray with you. Leave me a comment here or you may send me a private message by clicking "Contact Me" up there.

For those in deep financial need...
If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! Matthew 7:11
For those who are sick and need healing...
But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the LORD, because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares. Jeremiah 30:17
For those who are facing impossibilities...
Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God." Luke 18:27

Lord, help me see things the way You see them. Help me see through Your eyes. In Jesus' name, amen!

Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God." Luke 18:27

Lord Heavenly Father, we boldly come to your throne and present to you our needs and our heart's desires.  I pray that as we wait to receive our miracles, renew our strength and give us the grace to wait expectantly for your perfect timing.  We may encounter severe difficulties along the way, but we trust that you will be with us to carry us when our physical strength fails us.  We give you all the glory and praise.  In Jesus' mighty name, amen!

I'd like to participate once again on Angie's Fearless Friday where I can pray for you. If you're not comfortable sharing them here by leaving me a comment, you may email me. Either way, I will commit to pray for you.

This is my prayer request --- Please remember my Mom and Dad in prayer.  My Dad is having radiation therapy five times a week for lung cancer.  My Mom is having dialysis three times a week.  I'm praying and believing God for a miracle for both my parents that they will be healed completely.  I'm also asking God to help them  live a disciplined life everyday.  I believe nothing is impossible with God.  Would you stand with me in prayer and agreement for my parents' healing?

Thank you.

If you like to join us in praying for others, leave Angie a message over at Free Spirit Haven.

It's Friday once again. It's a day we commit to praying for our needs and the needs of others. If you have prayer requests, you may leave me a comment here or you can email me. I will be praying for you.

I have a few prayer requests myself.  Please continue to pray for Dad.  I talked to him earlier and he said he still feels weak although his appetite is good.  I know this has everything to do with cancer.  Dad and I are leaving again for China on Monday for his third nano chemo session.  Please pray that Dad will respond well to the treatment as he did the last time.

I would also like to ask prayers for Mom.  She is also sick.  She is having dialysis three times a week.  This is causing a huge dent in our finances.  Please remember us in prayer.

Thank you.

Prayers Needed

Friday, March 11, 2011
***UPDATE***

It's March 12, 8:29 p.m.  Just got home from church service.  Thank you for your prayers.  Everybody here is safe.  Thank you, God!  Let's continue to pray for the nation of Japan and its people.

*****************************************************************

Tsunami alert is up in the Philippines after the 8.9 magnitude earthquake that struck the northern part of Japan.  Earthquakes are also expected to occur in the different parts of the country anytime according to the PHILVOLCS (Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology).  Evacuations have already begun in some provinces, especially those residents living in coastal areas.

My mom had called me for like three times now in 30 minutes telling me to stay alert and be safe because I live in a high rise building.

I have a friend in Tokyo, Japan.  According to her, phone lines are still dead and tremors can still be felt every now and then.  We get updates from her through FB.  Thank God for Facebook!

Please join me in prayer for all countries on alert for tsunamis and earthquakes around the Pacific Region.

It's Friday once again. It's a day we commit to praying for our needs and the needs of others. If you have prayer requests, you may leave me a comment here or you can email me. I will be praying for you.

Earlier today, I asked God to speak to me as I read His Word.  I would normally read a chapter then another then another, but couldn't understand a thing.  But this time, I asked God to give me wisdom to know what His message is for me today.

I was reading from the book of Judges chapter 7 where Gideon defeats the Midianites.  Specifically on verse 22 where it says, "When the three hundred trumpets sounded, the LORD caused the men throughout the camp to turn on each other with their swords. The army fled to Beth Shittah toward Zererah as far as the border of Abel Meholah near Tabbath."

This is the revelation I got from this passage --- God can cause things to happen in our lives.  Sure, He won't over rule man's free will, but God can work on circumstances to make His will and His purpose prevail.  Whatever challenges we are facing now, however it looks like, God can CAUSE things to change for our benefit and for His glory.

Let's continue to praise God!

It's Friday once again. It's a day we commit to praying for our needs and the needs of others.  If you have prayer requests, you may leave me a comment here or you can email me.  I will be praying for you.

The past week, I've been really busy, frustrated, sad and irked.  I didn't even know exactly how else to describe what I was feeling because of so many emotions I was having all at the same time that I felt more like exploding.  Up until this morning, I was getting ready for my appointments when I got text messages one after the other that my meetings were canceled.

Again!

I looked at my planner from Monday this week, I was supposed to be busy like a bee.  And now, all I see on my planner are crossed out names and notes that say "rescheduled".  Argh!!!

I'm like what is going on???  I only have a week before the deadline and I'm still not even half way my target.  It's so frustrating!
Would you pray for me please? Whatever is God's will for me on this aspect of my life, I will accept and obey.  Please pray for peace and a heart of obedience for me. God knows what He is doing and I just need to be still.  Not my will but God's will be done.

Today, I'd like to ask you, my friends, to pray for physical healing for our brothers and sisters in Christ, for our own physical healing as well.  Whether you have colds or cancer, God's word said,
"But he (Jesus) was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed" Isaiah 54:5
I am convinced that He is willing and able to heal the sick and that Jesus Christ is still in the DIVINE HEALING business.  Let's not lose hope and faith.  We are serving a great and powerful God.  Nothing is impossible with Him. He will do it!

Dear friends, please say a prayer for everyone who are in need of financial breakthrough.   I know so many of us have piles of bills and debts to pay. Remember that the God we serve is able to deliver us from all these.  He can open up opportunities for us to earn more than enough.
"Is anything too hard for the LORD?" Genesis 18:14
That very thing , as long as it aligns with what we know to be His expressed will --- as a son was to Abraham and Sarah --- God intends to do for us. Yes, if we will let Him, God will do that very thing, even if we know it is such an utter impossibility. (Streams in the Desert)

Believe!  Don't give up!  Don't lose heart! Our God is ABLE!

I'm joining Angela over at Free Spirit Haven for another Fearless Friday.  Do you have prayer requests?  You can leave me a comment here or you can email me.  I will be praying for you.

My prayer request this week are for standers around the globe.  May God grant us peace, strength and grace as we stand and wait for God's promises to come to pass in our lives.

I've met another stander when I attended a Bible study group last week.  Her story is somewhat similar to mine.  She was so happy to know that she wasn't alone in this world standing for a covenant marriage like hers.  So many standers around the globe are in pain because of their hurting, dying or already dead marriages.  But remember that we serve a God who is able and willing to restore hurting and even dead covenant marriages.

Please pray with me.

Update on Rulaine Geronimo

Saturday, October 2, 2010
I just spoke with Lanie two minutes ago.  She said that Rulaine will be buried tomorrow.  Thank God!  HE really made a way.  They were able to borrow money to pay the huge amount of hospital bill.  They will just have to pay the one who lent them the money, with interest.  Still, any financial help, would really mean a lot to Lanie's family.  You may email Lanie at melaibenedicto@yahoo.com.  For those who prayed and are continuously praying, our heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you, prayer warriors.  God bless you!!!

It's Friday once again and it's time to pray for our needs and the needs of others.

Honestly, I am overwhelmed with the news I've been getting since I woke up this morning.  I already prayed but I will pray again after this.

Please pray with me for the family of Gina Carlin.  I got a message from Vicki, my dear friend, that Gina passed away.  I hurriedly hopped on to Gina's FB page and found this...
"With a broken heart I post the following to Gina Carlins' friends on Facebook: Gina Carlin passed away on Tuesday, September 21st. She was a loving wife and mother, a treasured daughter, beloved sister and friend. From our hearts to God's arms. Feel free to post your thoughts for the family to read and thank you for the... precious words already received from those of you that knew her and loved her as we did."
To those of you who knew her from Spicy, Savvy, Sane blog and Monkey Moon Photography, please pray for her family.

******************************

I have one more urgent prayer request.

My friend Lanie's niece, Rulaine Geronimo, who's just 11 years old was diagnosed with brain cancer last August and just a little over a month, Rulaine had already gone to be with our Lord.  The family was devastated.  They already lost a life and their bill in the hospital had since skyrocketed to $12,000.  Here's what's even more stressful ---  They were able to get Rulaine out of the hospital to the funeral home but the hospital won't release Rulaine's death certificate until Lanie's family are able to pay the balance which is still, I think, around $10,000.  The funeral home has given them only until Sunday this week to accommodate them or else they will be paying additional $112 per day until they get Rullaine's body buried or cremated.  How can this be done without the death certificate?  They don't have insurance coverage.

Dear friends, I appeal to you to please pray for my friend Lanie and if God leads you to make a financial donation of any amount, it will be very much appreciated.  Your donation will definitely be a huge help for Lanie's family.  I have set up a donation button at the lower left side of this page.  I will be accepting donations on their behalf using my Paypal account for now. Please do email me if you made a donation.  I would like to make sure that everything is properly accounted for.  I will give Lanie the list names of everyone who prayed and gave. You may also email her at melaibenedicto@yahoo.com.

Thank you very much.  May God bless you and your family.

It's Friday once again and I'm so glad that I can join Fearless Friday after being absent for months.

I want to share a verse I read just before I went online tonight.  It's in Numbers 11:23.  It says,
The Lord answered Moses, "Is the Lord's arm too short? You will now see whether or not what I say will come true for you."
I believe God is also asking us this --- Is the Lord's arm too short?

I have one prayer request for now.  It is my desire to reach the GOLD mark in my Sun Life business.  I'm almost there, just a little more stretch.  Two weeks to go.  With God's favor, I believe I can make it.

Fearless Friday

Friday, May 21, 2010
The week has gone so fast and it's Friday once again.

Today is my last day at work.  I'm excited to see what God is going to do in my life.  A bit scared because I'm getting out of my comfort zone. I know, it's FEARLESS FRIDAY and yet I feel a bit fearful.  That's just how I feel now, but I'm not going to dwell on it.  Also, I might not be able to blog and visit yours for a while, but will do so when I have the chance.

Please pray for me.

Thank you, my dear blogger friends, for all the support. I love y'all. I'll see you around.

I'd like to share this song with you.  Friends, it's true. Help is on the way. Be encouraged!

    People say time will heal
But you know, they just don't feel what you feel
Times are hard but God is so good
He's never failed you, and He said He never would

    He see's your tears
    He fights your fears

Hold on, help is on the way
    Help is on the way
He said He'd never leave you nor forsake you
    Stay strong
    Help is on the way
    He'd said he'd help you
Just reach out and take His hand

He knows your heart, He lifts your head
He's always close enough to hear every word you said
When you're weak, He said He's so much more
His arm is long enough to reach you where you are

    He see's your tears
    He fights your fears

    Help is on the way.
