{See & Pray WFW} Micah 6:8

Wednesday, February 6, 2013

Here's another translation of this verse:
"He has told you, O man, what is good, and what the Lord really wants from you: He wants you to promote justice, to be faithful, and to live obediently before your God." Micah 6:8 (New English Translation NET)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Father, what you require of me sounds easy to do, but it's not.  Give me the grace to do what you ask of me.  Give me the grace to do what is right. Help me, Father, to walk in obedience to your will.  In Jesus' name. amen!

{See & Pray WFW} Zephaniah 3:17

Wednesday, January 30, 2013

Two things caught my attention in this verse - He is a mighty savior and He will calm all your fears.  All of us are going through something in life.  Whatever it is that we're going through that we feel like we need to be rescued from, God is mighty to save.

Mighty - having superior power or strength. (Dictionary.com)
Savior - a person who saves, rescues or delivers. (Dictionary.com)

Fear is debilitating at some point. Fear, whether real or imagined, can eat you alive.  God said He will calm ALL your fears.

Calm - implies an unruffled state, especially under disturbing conditions. (Dictionary.com)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Father, thank you that you are mighty to save.  You are mighty to save me from where I am now in my life. Thank you that you can calm my fears. Father, you know exactly what I need right this very moment and I'm choosing to trust your Word today. Thank you for your unconditional love, that even when I fail you, you're still there to welcome me back with open arms. You are simply amazing!  In Jesus' name, amen!

WFW - Matthew 5:16

Wednesday, December 12, 2012
It's been four years since I started helping out in the Double Happiness' feeding program. It all started with two people who simply wanted to share their blessings with the children and the elders in their own little ways.  They wanted to put a smile on these people's faces. They started asking friends if they wanted to give a few hours of their time for this and the rest is history.

Last Monday, December 10, it was at the San Lorenzo Ruiz Home for the elderly in Pasay City.

I'm so glad I'm able to participate with WFW again.  I cling to this verse because of what I've gone through a month ago. I continue to claim this promise with all of my heart.  This is not just for me, but for all who are suffering with sickness and diseases. His promise and His word stand no matter what.

WFW - Joshua 6:2-5

Wednesday, November 23, 2011

I just came home from a wonderful get together/dinner with my friends Babette, Annie and Iris at her and pastor Nuel's house.  We prayed together and talked about how to break through in what we're believing God for.

It's 1:24 a.m. Kinda late, I know.

Trumpets are not weapons of war.  Trumpets are instruments for praise and worship. Do we want to break through and walk into our "promised land"?  Let's obey God's instruction and continue to praise and worship Him no matter how bad and how impossible our situation looks like.

WFW - John 19:30

Wednesday, April 20, 2011

Do you have anything in your heart that's weighing you down?  Trials that seem impossible to overcome?  Jesus died for them too.  And He said IT IS FINISHED.

Let's reflect on what Jesus did on the cross for us this season with a grateful heart.

Today is the day my husband and I said "I do" eight years ago.

For better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part...
