Your Will Be Done

Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without
money and without cost." Isaiah 55:1
For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say." Luke 12:12
Two verses God gave me last Thursday during my one day fast. I was asking God for three things. He answered two. The other one I'm putting on hold until God speaks to me about it. Aside from the three things I was asking God for, God impressed in my heart about something else. I'm not quite sure how to do this yet. It's about helping young couples whose marriage are hurting. I said, "God, how am I gonna do this? I'm having problems with my own marriage." I told my small group leader about it and she got so excited. She said, "Yes! It shall come to pass!"

God said that His words will not go back to Him empty but will accomplish the purpose for which they were sent. Somehow, at the back of my mind, I'm thinking that maybe He's letting me and my husband go through this rough road so we will be able to say that yes, we know how it feels because we've been on that same road. Well, I know that God has great plans for us.

Lord, I pray that Jesus will be glorified in my life, in my husband's life and in our marriage. Lord, not my will but your will be done.

Hi Pia,
You know that's how God works. He gives us a trial from which we will overcome and show His glory for all the world to see. You see, you have to pass through that experience of having your marriage on the rocks to understand the feelings of hurt and abandonment and then when you have overcome it, you will be able to empathize more with those who will be undergoing the same process in the future. Kung baga, para kang understudy ni Lord. That's the reason why I have undergone so many sicknesses in my body that I thought I who have died so many times ago. But I survived them all and now I am witnessing for the Lord. Ang galing ano? Sometimes I joke the Lord that He is so fond of putting His children at the edge of the cliff before He will rescue them. Without sounding irreverent, parang sadista ba. He, he, he, *lol* Sorry Lord joke lang. But when He delivers us, He does it in such a dramatic fashion that only God can do. Talagang Jesus Christ Superstar talaga. Thanks for your very pious post. I really enjoyed it. God bless you and your family always.

hey Mel, that's no fair because i can't read the language you're speaking. LOL i know, it wasn't to me anyway, but to Pia, but i'm being nosy. LOL

hi Pia, i agree with Mel. i remember a few years after my husband died, God had me doing some marriage counseling, and i wondered how i could do that since i was no longer married. doesn't matter if you're single, married, or whatever, since it's the Holy Spirit that does the ministering/counseling thru us, He knows each person's/couple's need, and He gives us the words of wisdom that's needed for them at that time. so even though i was no longer married, i had been married before, but God was ministering to them; i was the vessel chosen to use at that time.

i am so excited for your future! have a blessed day Pia!

mel: that's exactly what my small group leader said. i have to pass through all these experiences so i can empathize with those who will be undergoing the same process. the hard part for me is the fact that i'm still in the process. you know, i can't wait for God to deliver us from this situation and yes i agree that He does it in such a dramatic way that only God can do. i know of testimonies from people whom God finally delivered from their circumstances and what a way that was! it was perfect! Grabe talaga how God works.

thanks mel for your support and prayers for me and my husband. God bless you too.

sylvia: haha! we can teach you the language if you want... =D

i know in my heart that God will do something great in my marriage so He can use us to help others going through the same thing. God is the author of our marriage and i'm pretty sure He's not going to let anything or anyone destroy what He has started. sylvia, i'm excited too. thank you for your prayers. God bless you, my friend.
