Yes, I will be praying for him that he regains his wits and senses and return to his family. God is good, He will surely answer our prayers. Take hold of His promise on Acts 16:21, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. You and your household." I'm sure there will be a happy ending to this trial you are facing now.
