Thankful Thursday
Thursday, February 16, 2012Yesterday morning I asked the Lord a question and I felt like a child asking God something. I had a great day yesterday. I went to the office and did some errands after work.
Today was different though. It felt gloomy... Must be the weather. But towards the end of the day I read something posted by a friend on FB that struck me. It says in my language --- "Hindi pa ngayon anak, may perfect timing ako sayo -- God." (Not now my child, I have a perfect timing for you -- God.)
How perfect was that! I got my question answered. It was like God talking to me directly. No, I wasn't disappointed at all with the Not now my child. In fact, I was even more excited with the I have a perfect timing for you.
God has a perfect way of answering us, sometimes though in the most odd ways. But He does answer!
Thank you, Lord!
What are you thankful for this week?

TSMSS - What Faith Can Do
Saturday, February 11, 2012
It was Dad's birthday yesterday and also my nephew, Michael's. Happy birthday!
We had buffet breakfast at Vikings, Mall of Asia to celebrate. Well, I was too engrossed with the food that I forgot to take photos. I love to eat! We enjoyed the food, especially Dad.
Anyway, I was able to talk to a very close friend of mine. Her name is Maya. She's feeling very downhearted with all the blows in her life right now. I was telling her never to give up. That God will surely make a way. I think this song by the Kutless is very encouraging.
Everybody falls sometimes
Gotta find the strength to rise
From the ashes and make a new beginning
Anyone can feel the ache
You think it’s more than you can take
But you're stronger, stronger than you know
Don’t you give up now
The sun will soon be shining
You gotta face the clouds
To find the silver lining
I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do
It doesn’t matter what you’ve heard
Impossible is not a word
It’s just a reason for someone not to try
Everybody’s scared to death
When they decide to take that step
Out on the water
It’ll be alright
Life is so much more
Than what your eyes are seeing
You will find your way
If you keep believing
I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do
Overcome the odds
You don't have a chance
(That’s what faith can do)
When the world says you can’t
It’ll tell you that you can!
I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn’t ever end
Even when the sky is falling
And I’ve seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That’s what faith can do
That's what faith can do!
Even if you fall sometimes
You will have the strength to rise

Fearless Friday
Friday, February 3, 2012
Today is a day dedicated to prayer and I'm joining Angie over at Free Spirit Haven. If you have any concern that you'd like to lift up in prayer, I'd be glad to pray with you. Leave me a comment here or you may send me a private message by clicking "Contact Me" up there.
Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God." Luke 18:27
Lord Heavenly Father, we boldly come to your throne and present to you our needs and our heart's desires. I pray that as we wait to receive our miracles, renew our strength and give us the grace to wait expectantly for your perfect timing. We may encounter severe difficulties along the way, but we trust that you will be with us to carry us when our physical strength fails us. We give you all the glory and praise. In Jesus' mighty name, amen!

Thankful Thursday
Thursday, February 2, 2012
Amidst my busy schedule, I'm thankful that even when my prayer is short, I know God hears them. When I don't know what to say, I can pray in the Spirit. I thank God that He doesn't require us to pray lengthy and with flowery words before He hears us. I thank God that all I need to do to be heard is to pray from the heart.
