Have you heard of these boys with angelic voices? Everytime I listen to them I feel like I'm being lifted up to Heaven.

It's an honor to have been given this award. Thank you, Rita. I'm so touched by your description of me. If not because of what God allowed me to experience, I wouldn't be who I am now. So I'm giving all the honor to our Almighty God. He's actually the one who taught me about real FAITH.

A Wake Up Call
Monday, September 28, 2009
This is just one video that shows what the rest of Metro Manila and other nearby provinces experienced when Typhoon Ondoy (International codename: Ketsana) hit the Philippines. Although Ketsana has already left the Philippine area of responsibility, two other typhoons are expected to arrive any time soon.
God, and only God, has the power and authority to direct events.
I believe this is a wake up call to many of us.
"I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these things." Isaiah 45:7
"When a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When disaster comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it?" Amos 3:6
God, and only God, has the power and authority to direct events.
I believe this is a wake up call to many of us.

Please Pray
Sunday, September 27, 2009
***UPDATE AS OF SEPT. 28 ***
Our friends are now safe but some of them have lost everything... =(
*****************************************************************
I'd like to ask you, my friends, to please pray for us. A strong typhoon hit Metro Manila and a huge part of it was submerged under water. I thank the Lord for keeping me and my family safe but a lot of my friends were not. Some of them are still nowhere to be found and some were on the roof of their houses waiting to be rescued, all their properties have gone under water. We just got a text message a while ago that some of our friends haven't eaten yet. So many people died already.
Please pray for all of us.

Fearless Friday
Friday, September 25, 2009It's another day dedicated to praying for all our needs. Let's join together believing that God will answer our prayers because He does!
This week my heart is drawn to pray for HEALING. Whether it be physical, financial or marital, God can fix it. God heals!
"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:19-20If you have prayer requests and you need somebody to stand in the gap for you, please leave a comment here and I will pray.

Thankful Thursday
Thursday, September 24, 2009This week's theme is SIMPLICITY.
I thank the Lord for what He has done and allowed to happen in my life that helped me become who I am now. Because of what I've gone through in my marriage, I became a better me. I was able to get rid of bad habits, bad attitudes and emotional baggage. I was able to let go of things I've hung on for quite a while and people who weighed me down a lot. It was like a cleansing process for me. And I love what I got in return --- Joy and Peace. I like the simplicity of my life now. Although there are still desires in my heart that I'm waiting for God to bring to completion, this experience taught me to rely on Him 100% and I know I'm in a better place.
What are you thankful for this week?

If Satan Can't Steal Your Dreams...
Tuesday, September 22, 2009
I finished reading the book "If Satan Can't Steal Your Joy..." by Jerry Savelle last night. There was a part there that exactly described me and my thoughts. I got a little emotional on that part. I also started reading the devotional book Streams In The Desert by L.B. Cowman.
Last Saturday I bought another book by Jerry Savelle "If Satan Can't Steal Your Dreams... He Can't Control Your Destiny". I'm excited to start on this book this coming weekend.

"Did you know that Satan wants to steal your dreams? It's true. You are a threat to him as long as you continue to pursue all that God has for you. If you choose to walk in abundance that God has promised you, the devil will always try to come and steal everything you have---including your dreams.""The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." John 10:10

Streams In The Desert
Tuesday, September 15, 2009
I got a package when I got home last night from a meeting. I was so excited to open it up. I had an idea where it came from... Costa Rica!!!
Sarah Dawn of Spashin' Glory had her little boys each choose a number and they chose mine for Sarah's giveaway.
This is my second time to receive a book for having my name/comment picked from a giveaway.
Thank you, Sarah Dawn, for sending me this book. I love it!

"We all prayed about it (because we have no idea how to send it to the Philipines or how much it will cost for us to send it) but we know this book is a gift to you from the Lord."

If Satan Can't Steal Your Joy...
Monday, September 14, 2009Has Satan stolen anything from you? What do you do if you caught him stealing from you?
"Think for a moment of all the things Satan has stolen from you since you have been a Christian. Start now to expose him and his thievery. Rebuke him in the name of Jesus Christ. On the authority of God's Word, order him to return sevenfold everything he has unlawfully taken from you. You have that right!"
"Men do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger when he is starving. Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold, though it costs him all the wealth of his house." Proverbs 6:30-31I'm reading the book now. That thief sure did steal a lot from me! Now it's payback time.

Fearless Friday
Friday, September 11, 2009
I'd like to share something that happened last night.
I was in too much pain yesterday, somewhere on my left side rib area, I couldn't pin point where exactly. It was a piercing pain. I couldn't get up and walk properly and I was having a hard time breathing. I felt like I was coming down with a flu. It was really bad.
After our prayer and worship, where some friends prayed for me, the pain remained even after I got home. But I kept saying, "By Jesus' stripes I'm healed." "I'm healed! You hear me, devil?"
I tried to ignore the pain and went to sleep. I didn't know which position to take to lessen the pain. After being asleep for four hours, I got up and went to the john. I noticed the pain was gone. But that's not what I wanted to share. I wanted to share how I felt after noticing the pain was gone. I felt so strongly that it was God who drove away the pain. My room was dark but it seemed like there was light all over. It was like I've seen things not with my eyes but with my spirit. It felt so much that God's presence was in my room.
I went back to bed thanking God over and over again.
God's Word is really powerful and it's our weapon to fight the enemy. I've proven it true once again.
So, it's another day dedicated to praying for all our needs. Let's join together believing that God will answer our prayers because He does!

Thankful Thursday
Thursday, September 3, 2009This week's theme is SLOW DOWN.
Lately I've been so busy that I haven't been spending enough quality time with the Lord. I know this is the reason why when my boat is being rocked from time to time, I get swayed along with it when I should be still. I thank the Lord for this week's reminder to slow down.
Speaking of slowing down, I had this video on my FB. Please take time to watch this.
Are you B.U.S.Y.?
Father, thank you for constantly guiding me to the right path. Thank you for your patience. Thank you God for holding my hand and never letting go. In Jesus' name, amen.
What are you thankful for this week?
